The one-day workshop with Artist Liz Cooksey will provide you with the opportunity to explore and experiment with wire and other materials to produce a standing sculpture based on observations from natural forms seen in hedgerows, flowers beds and the natural landscape. We will be adopting a mixed media approach, shaping wire and using hand stitching, simple wrapping and binding techniques to incorporate and combine fine threads, delicate fabrics and hand printed surfaces.
