Attending the course will allow:
* Investigation of techniques and stimuli to encourage design creativity and innovation
* Access to, and exploration of, a toolkit of suggested approaches to deliver D&T with a user-centred approach
* Discussion and advice around the implementation of contextual designing to help with the Non-Examined * Assessment for GCSE

* Empathetic design and anthropology
* Non-linear approaches to design

* Linking to the NEA
Learning Outcomes:
*Engage in activities designed to support your own delivery methods
* Understand how to embed context into your current curriculum
* How to adapt and change to ensure a user-centred approach
* Gain case-studies to use in teaching and development
* To ensure your D&T curriculum works towards developing skills and attributes required for success in the NEA
Delegates will also engage in activities designed to support their own delivery methods in the classroom.
Live contextual challenges will not be discussed on this course in line with Awarding Organisations regulations.
You are advised to bring a laptop/portable device with you.
