Coffee takes several years to produce with a single harvest possible only for a year. This 9 months’ Basic Coffee Agronomy & Agroforestry: Focus on Robusta course will enable the students to learn in-depth knowledge and skills when it comes to the production and propagation of coffee, with special focus on Coffea canephora (Robusta).
This course shall also tackle timely management of coffee agroforestry to mitigate climate change which will cover hands on classes from seed selections, greenhouse gas (GHGs) management, coffee farm design and planning (including the associated intercrops and livestock), fertilizer management, soil and water management, coffee crop protection, pruning and stumping (coffee rehabilitation practices).

Qualification:
Works or owns a Coffee Farm in the Philippines
Farm of at least 1 hectare / 1,000 SQM or has 50 to 100 coffee trees
