This is an online course. In order to achieve the greatest outcome, maximise engagement with our trainer and gain the desired skills from this course, we require you to have your camera switched on throughout the entire session. We encourage discussion and are more than happy to answer questions during the session. Please note, the trainer may kindly request delegates mute themselves for short periods of times throughout the training session.

60 minute, Lunch Time online course (Zoom link will be provided) Course Outline: What is programming and control in D&T? Where to start? Do you know your ‘Crumbles’ from your ‘Micro:bits’? Are you lost in a scary sea of wires, computers and batteries? Course objectives: In this session we will look at the basics of programming and control in D&T. We will show you options to get you started in your school and show the differences of two options, ‘Crumble’ and ‘Micro:bit’ so you are able to make an informed decision regarding which one may be suitable for your school.
